David is a Group Director of Umow Lai and heads the Mechanical Services discipline across the Umow Lai Group. His responsibilities include the technical development of the Umow Lai mechanical discipline, challenging and encouraging project engineers to develop multidisciplinary skills and innovative design solutions which result in benefits to our clients.
In line with the multi-disciplinary philosophy of Umow Lai, David is a registered mechanical and fire safety engineer, and lectures in fire engineering at Victoria University.
In addition to his mechanical and fire engineering expertise, David is widely recognised by his peers as an accomplished project leader of multi-disciplinary teams on complex institutional, advanced technology and laboratory projects.
