Quote from Paul Blair Director – Project Management | Project Urban:
“The decision by Youi to establish their international headquarters on the Sunshine Coast is a major sign of both their commitment to the region and to the general positivity of development and employment opportunities in the fasters growing region in Queensland. The development of the new Youi headquarters project is the largest single private commercial development investment on the Sunshine Coast.
From the very outset Youi’s vision for the development was a highly specialised and technically competent building combined with a vibrant, contemporary workspace, however at the core of the success of the development was a highly capable, experienced consultant team. Umow Lai played an integral and definitive role in establishing a clear and concise brief for the mechanical, electrical, lifts and ESD services, which centred around a detailed understanding of the Youi operational model and their aspirations. In particular, Umow Lai were responsible for devising and delivering the fundamental services redundancy strategy, both electrical and mechanical, which underpinned the design and ultimately the success of the development. Their ability to work equally closely and collaboratively with the client, consultant group and eventually the contractor to devise solutions and to resolve design issues was of the highest quality.”
