Umow Lai has helped Wesley College and Cox Architects successfully complete the Moubray-Street-Precinct-Redevelopment at their Prahran campus.

The consultancy provided a full range of engineering and sustainability services at Wesley, one of Melbourne’s premier private schools a significant investment that supports their strong commitment to excellence in the arts, particularly music, theatre and the visual arts.

Refurbishment of Adamson Hall and the Menzies Wing was also undertaken, sensitive to their historical significance in the school’s history.

Work included the $3.5 million redevelopment of the Menzies Wing; a new $21.5 million Music School and the $4.5 million redevelopment of Adamson Hall.

The Mowbray Street Precinct Redevelopment was opened on 4 March, 2014 by Her Excellency, The Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, former Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia
