This landmark development on the corner of Sturt Street and Southbank Boulevard, Southbank has been transformed into two striking arts venues; a 500-seat theatre for the Melbourne Theatre Company and a 1000-seat Recital Hall, bearing the name of arts philanthropist Dame Elisabeth Murdoch.
The iconic architecture, engineering and acoustic excellence and exceptional construction stand the Melbourne Recital Hall proudly in the company of other great music and theatre venues around the world.
The two new venues opened in February 2009.
