Built as part of VicUrban’s Revitalization of Central Dandenong, the 14,100sqm office development on the corner of Walker and Thomas Streets, houses multiple state government tenants.

The building was designed to achieve a world class level of advanced environmentally sustainable design for commercial office developments including PCA A-Grade quality office accommodation, achieving a 6 star Green Star – Office v3 Design and As-Built rating. The project also achieved a 6 Star Green Star Interiors rating and now during it’s operation, a 5 Star NABERS Energy rating establishing it as one of the world’s leading sustainable buildings and vastly exceeding the original project brief.

Sustainability initiatives include advanced glazing including solar reflective fritting, reclaimed bushfire timber, rainwater collection and reuse for toilet flushing, low energy lighting and under floor air distribution.

Umow Lai has been responsible for the design of all building services, ICT, fire engineering and environmentally sustainable design.
