150 Collins Street was awarded a 6 Star Green Star Design rating from the Green Building Council of Australia in July 2014.

Designed to sit in harmony with its historic Melbourne neighbours The Scots’ Church and Assembly Hall, the 150 Collins Street tower will be distinguished by its architectural and ESD features that will help the building achieve its aim of a 6 Star Green Star (Version 2 Office design) rating and a 5 star NABERS energy rating. ESD elements include 150 Collins Street being designed with high performance double glazing and low solar/thermal energy transmission that allow relatively high visible light transmission.

Indoor Environment Quality will be addressed through air quality, lighting, thermal comfort, noise and minimising indoor air pollutants. Energy consumption will be reduced through building fabric and building services, such as sub metering, enabling the building users to monitor energy and water use.
