A seven-level office building which exhibits new sustainability and fire protection features is being built at 990 La Trobe Street in Melbourne’s Docklands. It will provide 12,700 square metres of commercial office space for the major tenant, Melbourne Water. The building is proposed to achieve a six star Green Star design rating which will be obtained through several design features. The total project cost is $80 million and the fit out is due for completion mid 2012.
