Until recently, no building had earned the rare triple crown: a Property Council of Australia (PCA) premium-grade quality rating, a 6 star Green Star As-Built credential, and a 5 Star NABERS Energy rating.

Another thing that had never been done? Taking those same parameters and integrating them with a 100-year old heritage building.

That was the task confronting the design team for Melbourne’s 171 Collins Street redevelopment: one project, two buildings, and two disparate sets of challenges.
